Take A Hike Brisbane Sunday 14 October
I’ve left myself loads of time to train for the 10.5k run on Sunday 14th October. Please sponsor me and the AEIOU foundation. AEIOU specialise in early intervention for children with autism and suspected autism. This is important for developing daily life skills as well as tapping into happiness and confidence.
While I was happy and confident last year walking the 5k, this year I’ve been gently coaxed out of my comfort zone and discouraged from holding back.
Feel free to come along on Sunday. I’d love to see you and there will be breakky.
I am really proud to be taking part in Take A Hike in 2018. I have taken the first step to support AEIOU Foundation and the great work they do. I would love it if my friends/family and colleagues would take the next. If you can, it could be terrific if you could donate to my fundraising page. Every donation small or large will help transform the lives of children with autism. Just click the donate button. Every cent raised through Take A Hike will be used by the AEIOU centres to help deliver their life changing program. Thank you so much for supporting such a great cause. You are helping change the world.

To The Gang, thank you very much for all the generous support and donations. I'm so grateful to have such fab friends and colleagues. Special mention to the Shufflers and their leave no made behind policy. For me, Take a Hike is all about getting behind one another and inspiring confidence and change. My day felt very special and you made a huge difference to my performance. The tutu was also performance enhancing, and the Churchie cheer-squad.

Dear Gang, thank you all so much for your support to me, and to AEIOU. I'm feeling really proud of everyone who has donated, the people who have encouraged me, the foundation, SNP and myself (shocker).
Everyone's welcome to come down and wave, say hello, have some coffee and bacon. It'll be fab. I'm feeling a bit nervous so I'll share a quote from Winston, who's standing behind me:
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. - WC.
