Champions Challenge Extreme - A Team Jacob Event

The boys from Team Jacob are proud and excited to introduce Champions Challenge Extreme - an eight day trek along the south west coast of Tasmania. Eight mates will take on the challenge of a lifetime.

The remote, pristine but beautiful south west coast of Tasmania is a destination which remains largely untouched, by development or people! Completion of this trek requires much training and commitment should be taken very seriously. The track itself is tough and at times a dangerous path. You can expect full days of walking along difficult and muddy trails and sometimes through creeks. But the effort will prove to be extremely worthwhile! The 85km South Coast Track runs between Melaleuca and Cockle Creek. There are no roads to Melaleuca, so walkers must either fly, boat or walk.

The Track provides challenging walking conditions, but with dedicated preparation, an excellent training schedule and a fantastic support crew, anyone in reasonable health can complete it. The warmer months are from November to April, but you have to be prepared for cold winds, heavy storms or even snow at any time of year. Rain falls on average every second day during summer.

Join us on the inaugural Team Jacob Champions Challenge Extreme... it will be life changing not only for you, but for children living with autism. All funds raised will be donated to AEIOU Foundation to help create a lifetime of opportunities for these very special children.

Fundraising is an integral part of the Champions Challenge Extreme. There are no fees associated with your fundraising page, so every dollar that is donated goes straight to AEIOU to help them continue to provide their life changing early intervention service to children with autism. There is no minimum fundraising commitment and the AEIOU Fundraising team are on hand to help you every step of the way. Part of the registration process is the creation on your own unique fundraising page that you can share instantly with friends and family to get you started.
