Champions Challenge 2021 - A Team Jacob Event

Champions Challenge is the brainchild of a group of mates who wanted to challenge themselves and make a real positive impact to the lives of children with autism, brought to life in conjunction with AEIOU Foundation.

Champions Challenge will see teams of four undertake a tough physical and mental challenge, as they embark upon a one-day hike through rugged terrain from Gold Creek Reservoir to Enoggera Reservoir. 100% of the funds raised will be donated to AEIOU and help children with autism live their best lives.

Autism is not rare. One in 100 Australians are diagnosed with autism, making it one of the most common disabilities affecting young children in our country. The intensive early intervention therapy, care and support offered by AEIOU helps children develop essential life skills and prepares them for their next learning environment. AEIOU specialises in helping children develop functional communication and behaviour, social skills and independence. Each child receives individual strategies focusing on goals which best support them to achieve long-term outcomes.

With your help, we can support children with autism and their families, giving them access to evidence-based early intervention programs and practical support. Together, we can help children with autism live their best lives.

The registration fee for a team of 4 is $1,200 and teams have a minimum fundraising commitment of $1,000 ($250 per team member).

Register today, create your team and grab your hiking shoes and trekking poles out of the cupboard. With your help, we can change the future for children with autism, and their families.
